What to pack for Dubai Dessert Safari

Dubai has attracted world attention through large construction projects and sports events, in particular the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. As of 2012, Dubai was the most expensive city in the Middle East.

The outskirts of city of dubai lies a great desert. The Arabian Desert is a vast desert wilderness in Western Asia. It stretches from Yemen to the Persian Gulf and Oman to Jordan and Iraq.

A Desert Safari in Dubai is amongst the top of the to-do list while you are in Dubai as similar activity or tour cannot be experienced anywhere else. There are three types of tours are available, which are Morning Desert Safari, Evening Desert Safari, and

Overnight Desert Safari and these are catered to specific times of the day.bPickup location can be customized and arranged to pick you up from your home, office, or centralized location depending on the selected package type.

After you are picked up by company driver in a comfortable vehicle, you will leave

behind hustle and bustle of Dubai for your long-awaited Desert Safari Dubai. This comes with its own exceptional vibes as you will see how the surroundings are transitioning from city of skyscrapers to a big desert in front of your eyes. This also gives you an idea of how Dubai’s modern and world-class lifestyle has grown right in the heart of this huge Arabian Desert. While enjoying this transition you will reach a point where you will be dropped on the roadside, where you will be warmly welcomed by staff members who will take you in 4x4 Cruisers into the heart of the desert.

Your ride of thrill starts from here. Expert drivers will be taking you up and down in cruisers on sand dunes at very fast speed. This activity is called Sand Dune Bashing and observed with international quality safety standards. Dune bashing is Followed by cultural show, BBQ dinner, Camel Rides, ATV rides and henna session.

Clothes To Wear

In general, normal clothing is tolerated as long it is not too short or too revealing. To be respectful of the UAE culture, it is better to cover knees and shoulders and everything in between. For example, t-shirts are fine but spaghetti tops for women might be frowned upon in more public areas.

Women do not have to cover their hair, faces, heads with a scarf or similar in public.

Skirt length below or too the knee is fine. As skirts get shorter, the potential to cause offence increases.

Men wearing normal shorts might get an odd look in some places but are unlikely to get into trouble. Ideally, shorts should be down to the knee to be sure of causing no offence.

For desert safari, It is recommended to wear half shirts / t-shirts and half pants with slippers as the dessert will be hot during day. Also it is recommended to carry a light jacket as night times will be slightly cold. It is also recommended to carry Sunscreen, Sun glasses and a Cap for protection against strong sunlight and heat.
